Farmhouse
Scalpsie Farm’s farmhouse is available to rent as self catering accommodation all year round. It is located with only a 5 minute walk from Scalpsie Bay – which you can see from the bedrooms and kitchen.
The farmhouse sleeps 6 people comfortably, with 2 bathrooms and a kitchen / living room area which has a log burner and big bay window with views over Scalpsie Farm, Ambrismore and, of course, the beach.
The farmhouse has an enclosed garden with a small seating area. You’ll have the entire farmhouse to yourself. Ian and Lisa are living in the attached second part of the 19th century farmhouse and are on hand should you require any assistance.
Our farmhouse is non-smoking so everyone can enjoy their holidays equally.
Unfortunately, we may not be able to provide full disabled access in our cottage, as all bedrooms are located on the first floor.
We are pet friendly, and we offer to book comfy kennels for the time you may want to spend on a day trip or go out for dinner. Please pre-book a kennel if you are interested in using them.

Outside
- Walled garden with lawn and small seating area.
- Parking for two cars in front of the property.
- Access will be in front of the house, via the garden, only.
- There will be NO guest access for farm buildings and sheds.
Please note, Scalpsie Farm is a working farm. We are surrounded by fields in which farm animals may be grazing. Sometimes, farm animals are housed in the sheds surrounding the farmhouse and can be noisy. These include sheep, cows, chickens, working dogs and cat.
